Noise is everywhere in our life. To reduce the interference of noise, the Active Noise Control (ANC) headphone becomes more and more popular .Firstly, this paper give a systematic introduction to the principles and feed-forward and feed-back composition of the ANC system. Analyze the advantages of ANC system which based on adaptive control. According with the optimal filtering theory - Wiener filtering and adaptive filtering theory to derivate the RLS and LMS algorithm which are widely used.Then, use MATLAB to realize LMS algorithm and RLS algorithm and verify the influence to the system of the key parameters of LMS algorithm. Then, simulate the feed-forward and feed-back ANC headphone systems based on adaptive LMS algorithm respectively, analyze and compare the performances of two systems are in different noise conditions.Finally, actually verify the performance of the LMS adaptive feed-forward ANC headphones based on DSP, confirm the LMS adaptive ANC system can be effectively used in the headphone to control the noise, especially for the low frequency and middle frequency noise.
