For nuclear power station, all structures, equipment related to nuclear pervasion are required to have only elastic deformation or small non-elastic deformation. It is ensured that machinery & electric apparatus and instrument properly operate under operating basis earthquake (OBE). It is also ensured that equipment and instrument related to safe shut-off properly operate under safe shutdown earthquake (SSE).In order to verify that the auxiliary feedwater motor-driven pump for Liaoning Hong Yanhe Nuclear Power Plant Phase I can withstand SSE without any damage, that is during or after SSE, completeness of structure and operation can be ensured, finite element analysis software, ANSYS is applied to analysis on model building and seismic analysis for the auxiliary feedwater motor-driven pump (including barrel, cover, pump shaft and pump base plate). It is shown in the result that with the mutual effect of design pressure, weight, pipe load, motor torque and seismic load:—The pressure retaining components of the auxiliary feedwater motor-driven pump can meet RCC-M, ensure completeness of structure and continually operate during and after earthquake;--Stress of connecting bolt between barrel and pump base plate can meet Appendix Z VI of RCC-M;--Aelative deformation of pump shaft shall be less than clearance between rotating parts and static parts without friction. Safety factor of static strength and fatigue strength for pump shaft shall be far more than the required factor to ensure operation of the pump.By multi-frequent waves on test table for seismic, excite the three orthogonally axial at the same time. Taking acceleration signal for seismic test table as controlling one to complete OBE&SSE seismic tests, completeness of structure&function for the auxiliary feedwater motor-driven pump with the effect of required seismic load and after the effect, and correctness of theory analysis are verified.
