Brushless DC Motor (Brushless DC Motor) is a new type of motor and its emergence is as development of the permanent magnet material technology, semiconductor technology, power electronics and control technology. In essence, the brushless DC is a kind of AC permanent magnet synchronous motor which feedback information in accordance with motor rotor position and running in electronic commutation, which overcome the series limit brought by the mechanical commutator and brush, and features the small size light, high efficiency, reliability, strong overload capacity, low noise, light fever and there is no excitation loss and other issues.Brushless DC motor features both a good dynamic and static speed characteristic of traditional DC motor, and its structure is simple, very reliable, easy to control, which make its motion control systems to achieve in a wide range of applications. In this paper, it states the design principles and design process of Brushless DC Motor based on the DSP28335, and carried out by simulation and experimental validation.The paper briefly introduces the structure of the brushless DC motor structure, and describes the working principle of brushless DC motor and its main features. Brushless DC motor has a fixed armature and rotating magnetic field, a position sensor built motor, there is no commutator (formerly known as commutator), and brush. As the rotor continues to turn, continue to send the signal received by the position sensor, so that the armature windings of the power state changes, resulting in a magnetic conductor under the direction of the current remains unchanged. In view of the good characteristics of brushless DC motor, I carried out the following studies:Concluding second-order mathematical models of Brushless DC motor, and discussing the two kinds of control mode with or without position sensor.Mathematical model of the control system which is designed by the speed, position, double-loop design is established; digital control of the control system is achieved by using discrete bilinear transform method .The control system simulation results show that the maximum tracking error of less than 5%, which meets the technical requirements.Describing the realization method of digital controller, building a hardware system fit for the brushless DC motor based on TMS320F28335.Designing a position and velocity detection circuit, D / A converter and serial communication circuits.Building the rotary table experimental system for brushless DC motor to further verify the accuracy of steady speed control system. When given speed were set at 0.1°/ s, 1°/ s and 100°/ s, the maximum steady speed experimental results showed that the error was less than 5%.Finally, making the test results and analyzing the system, adopting the servo control system based on floating-point processor TMS320F28335, which greatly improved the control precision. Then summarizing the work, and making the prospect of the follow-up work.
