The steel plate-lightweight aggregate concrete composite beams are flexural members which are made up of the steel plates and the LWAC working together by shear connectors and bond role.The LWAC parts are the principal pressure part and the steel plates are the primary tension part under load. So the steel plate-lightweight aggregate concrete composite beams not only have the good mechanical behaviors and the service performance,but also have the good economic benefits,because of the full use of two material respective mechanics characteristics. With ANSYS Programme,in the ease, which steel plate-lightweight aggregate concrete simply supported composite beams subjeeted to a pair of symmetry concentrated loads, simulation analysis based on numerous research about the subject is performed. Main contents and outcomes are listed as follows:Use the FEA software of ANSYS to establish the non-linear finite element model of steel-lightweight aggregate concrete composite beams.The subject simulated the role of the shear connectors and the bond of contact surface by combinations 9 element in this paper; The point is to settle the problems that selecting the constitutive relation of lightweight aggregate concrete and processing the transfer surface of steel plate and lightweight aggregate concrete;Through the entire process analysis of the composite beam model's mechanical behaviors under the symmetrical concentrated load from starting load until destruction of the model,Analyzing the development of cracks,carrying capacity,yield,failure modes,flexure,and the stress-strain distribution of concrete and steel plate and transfer surface slib of lightweight aggregate concrete and steel plate;Studying the influence of steel plate-lightweight aggregate concrete composite beams'mechanical behaviors by changing some factors that including lightweight aggregate concrete intensity,thickness of steel plate,the degree of shear connection and load form.
