Precise three-dimensional track-planning can increase the success probability of an Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) in low-altitude penetration. It is very difficult to implement three-dimensional track-planning because of the huge searching space.This article researched on the basic model and algorithm of path planning for UAV, It built the terrain and threat model, then researched terrain simulation algorithm, threat mountain simulation algorithm and equivalent terrain simulation algorithm with value algorithm. Digital map after being processed satisfies the request of path planning for UAV.This article introduced a route planning for unmanned aerial vehicles based on improved Particle Swarm Optimization by which it solved the conflict of global optimum and the volume of data in reference Path Planning, reduced the Parameter and speed up the calculation of optimal Path Planning. On the base of preflight and online planning algorithm, the author makes use of MATLAB language and has designed and implemented UAV trajectory planning algorithm simulation program.The result of simulation shows that the method is rapid in calculation, needs smaller memory space, and is easier engineering realization. Taking the shortest route as optimization goal satisfied with constraints, better results are achieved compared with standard PSO verifies the validity of advanced PSO algorithm in this paper.In the final Part, a conclusion about route Planning method is made and suggestions for further research are given.
