Home Health Care Products Design Research In The Social Context Of Our Country

With the world's people aging and empty nesters increasing, many social problems appear. People pay more attention to the elders'physical and spiritual health. Rapid life, school and work pressures results in people's sub health. Now it is difficult and expensive for us to deal with disease not only because of the shortness of medical resource but also the imperfect medical system. With the life standard improving, people's health consciousness gradually strengthens, for example, people begin to pay attention to disease prevention and health care. The traditional medical system is based on clinical treatment, but now it develops into a modern comprehensive one, which is diversified and of multi-levels, including the disease prevention, hospital treatment, and home care. The disabled can live on themselves with the help of medical supporting products. With the fast developing of Chinese economy, many social issues threaten people's health, such as the environmental pollution and unhealthy food. Under such social condition, more and more medical products become household necessities.Home Health Care Engineering (HHCE) gets more and more social attention now. As HHCE's important component, home health care products indeed progress a lot in the design and developing. How to improve life quality and how to make home health care products more humane become important issues for experts at home and abroad. Based on the present situation, the future will be brilliant to research in this issue.This essay includes five parts. The first part is preface. It is a brief introduction for the social background and industry state of home health care products. This part includes the essay's main idea, aim and methods. The second part introduces the related theory of the home health care products, researches of the present operation, and the analysis of the problems in designing. The third part is the designing research of home health care products, including the function and operating method, safety and feedback, aesthetic and man-machine interface. The forth part is my designing practice, including the analysis of the objective group, function and appearance determination and so on. The final part is conclusion and forecast, concluding the whole essay and out-looking the designing of the home health care products.
