Today, the land resources are becoming strained. It becomes an inevitable trend that the 500kV three-phase compace transformer applicates large-scale in power system. In addition to transport, the damp, exposed air-time control, the quality of insulating oil and high-voltage testing are a key factor in the quality of the transformer installation. The main purpose of this paper are:With project examples, Analyzing the 500kV three-phase compace transformer installation process, Moisture and the quality of insulating oil impact on three-phase compace transformer, Improving the quality and construction efficiency by the insulating oil process improvement, Reduce the time of exposed to air by the process improvement.Papers are composed by four chapters:Chapters 1 and 2 introducts the theoretical basis and points out that the moisture and insulating oil have the hazards to transformer, then introducts how to due with them. At the same time, it discusses the domestic and international researches on these technologies. Chapter 3 introducts the installation process, the high-voltage testing and insulating oil treatment process. In the last chapter, the whole text is summarized and some questions to be perfected are brought forward.
