The launch law of the electromagnetic flying plate motion characteristics were studied, and the transmitter coil structure was optimized. Based on the Maxwell soft, eddy current distribution within the flying plate, the magnetic field distribution and the electromagnetic force between the launch coils and flying plate, The effect of the base plate's properties to the flying plate's acceleration were analyzed. By the preceding analysis, flying plate motion characteristics in the process of launch was gained. Also the test model and test methods was improved to provide the practical basis of industrialization of the electromagnetic driven flying plate technology. Through the AUTODYN 3D to simulate the intercept process of the flying plate to bomb and optimize electromagnetic drive mode. The results showed that, The transmitter coil parameters has obvious impart to the velocity of flying plate, the speed of flying plate can be improved by reduce inductance or increase mutual inductance in the loop.
