With the increase of product complexity and speed up the replacement rate, making the need to obtain and process engineering resources in the design process become more complex and diverse. Traditional experience-based design has been difficult to meet the design requirements. Therefore, scientific management and reuse of these design resources is the key to improve product development efficiency and shorten the duration of the project, adapt to the global market, to victory in the fierce competition, but also the effective way to solve the low innovative mechanical product development R&D process, long product development cycle. This paper studies the reusable product design resources modeling, based on rough set of reusable product design resources to access, based on the varying-space activated reusable product design resource dynamic scheduling technology. Based on the theories and methods presented in this paper, design resource management modules for design reuse is developed, and have been verified in the key modules of the CNC machine tool design process.The organizational structure of the paper are as follows:Chapter I Analyzed the mechanical design and manufacturing enterprises in which the current market environment, combined with the modern product design and characteristics reviews the connotation of modern product design and present research situation. Summaried design reuse-oriented design resource reuse modeling, access technology, resource scheduling model&optimization algorithm and application of design resources management, analyzed the existing problems in related technologies, given the significance of this study and research, introducing the organizational structure of this paper in the end.Chapter II Summaried and reviews the concept of reusable product design resources, manifestations, and resource scheduling quality of service(QoS) calculation methods, learn from software engineering object-oriented programming design thinking to build a reusable product design resources hierarchical model. By the operation of the association, aggregation and composite between the classes&objects, formally describes the resource model of design knowledge and tools, based on QoS constraints given the dynamic scheduling model, lay a foundation for resource scheduling.Chapter III Studied the reusable product design resources access technology based on the hierarchical model of object-oriented reusable product design resources. According to the characteristic attributes of reusable product design resources to establish the inverted index structure, combined with rough set theory, using attribute importance to determine the weights of the attributes of the key features, combined with indexing reusable product design resources multilayer case-based retrieval model. The main steps include discrete instance of the attribute values, established and attribute reduction of decision table, the instance of the similarity metric. Using local update varying-space shift strategy, through particle evolution and varying-space shift, achieve the rapid solution of DDRDS, then help to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the reuse of design resources. Finally, an example of CNC machine tool scheme design, precision design, stiffness design resource scheduling was given to validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the method.Chapter V Developed CNC machine tool design resource management module facing to design reuse based on theories and methods presented in this paper. Gives out the instances of its application in CNC machine tool design to verify the feasibility and utility of the proposed theories and methods.Chapter VI Summarized all achievements and characteristics of this study, as well as the effect of CNC machine tool design resources management module facing to design reuse. makes a prospect of further research work in the end.
