Gear is a transfer part which wildly used in various kinds of mechanical equipment; its working performance has a crucial impact on the whole equipment. Along with the fast development of modern industrial technology, the power and rotate speed transmitted by gear-driven system is larger and faster, as the gear-driven system's design, produce and assemble are more and more important.In this paper, the gear-driven system of NC milling machine which designed and produced by the Liaoning province major lab of complex surface NC manufacturing technology is for researching. The finite element contact analysis of gear tooth is analyzed; and then gear meshing stiffness chart and error excitation chart of the system through testing is obtained. Then synthesizing these two charts, the internal incentive of the gear-driven system is obtained. The model and dynamic response of the gear-driven system are analyzed, and then the ranges of nature frequency and vibration response are obtained. Finally, through the vibration test, the validity and accuracy of the FEA method is verified.The following are the main contents of this paper. firstly the 3D FEA model of the gear meshing is constructed, and then the static contact analysis of tooth is analyzed, calculated the meshing force and deformation of the tooth, and then the gears meshing stiffness is obtained; secondly the FEA model of the whole gear-driven system is constructed and the model of the system is analyzed, putting forward a new method to analyze the model of assembles character, the ranges of nature frequency of the system are obtained, and then the dynamic response of the gear-driven system is analyzed, and then the speed, acceleration and displacement of the system are obtained; finally, the vibration test is done, through analyzing the spectrum, determining the main components in the spectrum is from meshing. Comparing with the dynamic response analysis, the result is basically identical.
