In the traditional automobile coating line control system,the ERP system, shop scheduling system and equipment control system which constitute the whole control system were separated from each other. They only simply superimposed by the function, and were far away from an intelligent integrated system, which limited the capacity of optimization decision, information exchanging and state feedback, and reduced the production efficiency of the automobile coating line control system. Therefore, people were interested in developing a modern integrated manufacturing system, and based on which, two key problems should be resolved, one was the complex scheduling problem in automobile coating line and the other was the process control of the systems which was multivariable, nonlinear, close coupling and strong time delay. According to this current situation and the fact of automobile coating line in DongFeng Nissan Diesel Motor Co., Ltd, a group control system of automobile coating line control system based on MAS was developed. Based on these system, a further research and demonstration about system integration, shop scheduling, equipment control, software develop was proposed. The main research contents as follows.1. The key process and the controls parameter of the automobile coating line had been researched. Then the mode of group control system based on MAS was established, and according to this mode, the structural about the shop scheduling system and the equipment control system of the automobile coating line was designed.2. The mode of shop scheduling in automobile coating line was established, based on which a mixed scheduling algorithm composited of CNP and CPSO was researched. And the automobile coating line could be scheduled intelligently no matter the situation of tasks and equipment changed slightly or greatly. Finally, the algorithm was proved in effect by example emulation.3. The mode of distributed MPC was established, and an algorithm about MA-MPC had been researched. Based on this algorithm the difficult of equipment control in automobile coating line caused by complex computing, and multivariable, close coupling and strong time delay was solved. Finally, the algorithm was proved in effect by example emulation.4. Considering about the mode of integrated system, shop scheduling system and equipment control system above, a software of"The group control system of the automobile coating line V1.0"was developed, and an integrated manufacturing system based on this software was set-up, which could work intelligently. Finally, the full text is summed up, and the further study prospect is proposed.
