Dynamic compaction is widely used in recent years and the current study in this field is mainly based on field test. Though study results in the past has accumulated a wealth of research data, the systematic study of the application of dynamic compaction in the area of deep collapsible loess is inadequate. Therefore, further research on this topic is important. The thesis summarizes study results at home and abroad and carried out the following researches:it proposed dynamic consolidation mechanism of collapsible loess foundation based on the summary of international and national research about the outcome of the consolidation mechanism and combined with the special nature of the loess; secondly the paper evaluated the reinforcement effect of the specific projects through the experimental study on dynamic compaction of collapsible loess foundation, and proved the reinforcing effect of dynamic compaction and strengthening mechanism by experimental data; thirdly, through numerical simulation and comparative analysis in between experimental data with theoretical results,it showed that ANSYS is useful and reliable when being applied to the dynamic consolidation. Analysis the stress expansion of loess by dynamic method.Basic conclusion of the study:because ANSYS program is highly reliable and applicable in the numerical simulation of dynamic compaction, so it can be used to predict or analyze; numerical simulation and experimental results show that the process of dynamic compaction has obvious volatility, reflecting the compaction energy is propagated in the form of shock wave, and finally absorbed by soil, then changes the original structure of loess. Loess is compacted by shock waves; The research results provides a meaning reference for the forecast or analysis on the reinforcing effect of the dynamic compaction in the application of collapsible loess. Also it can provide a positive significance on design and construction parameters.
