Based on the scientific research project of Shanghai science and technology commission, to which Dongrun heat exchange equipment manufacture Co., LTD apply, this paper focuses on heat exchanger that is most widely used in Chemistry industry, Petro industry, refrigeration industry and dynamic and nuclear energy industry. Heat exchanger is the key equipment of reasonable using and saving the existing energy in related industries, heat exchanger plays an important role in energy-saving technology retrofit.This thesis in view of finned tube heat exchanger makes research, because this type heat exchanger can improve the problem that the big thermal resistance outside the tube through increasing overall heat transfer area and some other merits.For the adopted finned tube heat exchanger, we can in light of the research results obtained from previously studied. While for the new type we need do heat test in wind tunnel, then analysis the data got from tests to obtain empirical formula. The experience formula of Heat Transfer Coefficients for outside pipe and velocity between tubes is our destination. Also the experience formula of external pressure drop and velocity between tubes is our destination. On the premise of maximum size and thermal load are known, the software is worked out based on the experience formula.The performances of seven new finned tube is obtained from the test in wind tunnel. Thermal design and consumables analysis software is worked out based on the experience formula.
