The land area of plains in Henan province is more than 55%.the other is hills country, due to the impact of the Yellow River, the main characteristics of the plains sandy soil is sandy soil, and this which is widely distributed in Xinxiang, Anyang, Puyang, Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, Shangqiu and other regions, with a total area of 84.3 ten thousand mu. Xinxiang City is located in the north of Henan province, and belongs to Yellow River basins, the plain covering a total area of 78%, is typical of the silt land area. The practice shows that the sandy soil is short of water retention, soil compaction problems, and vibration in the rolling prone to loose under the action of deformation, when too much water, causing liquefaction deformation, loss of carrying capacity, pavement performance is poor. In recent years, the development of Henan Highway construction is rapid, for this reason, how to use sand soil as the resources of road construction materials, meet the need of quality requirements for different grades of roads base material, save construction costs, building a green traffic environment, is to be addressed as major technical and economic issues in Henan.In this paper, based on reconstruction and repair projects Xinxiang trunk highway, the technology of the using of industrial waste production low-temperature ceramic curing agent curing the sandy soil is studied systematically, and the main findings and conclusions are as follows:(1) Low-temperature ceramic materials stable sandy soil is used as road base or subbase material is theoretically feasible.(2) Taking porcelain agent (CA is a kind of multi-component composite material compound) as the main ingredient, using of its own character of producing dehydration and carbonation consolidation, generating gel mineral properties, the technology of low temperature curing agent which produced by fly ash, slag, red mud, gypsum and other raw materials like ceramics prepared at is developed, this kind of curing agent is equipped with perfect physical and mechanical performance, and the production process without high temperature calcination, easy to facilitate industrial production.(3) The mechanics of low-temperature ceramic curing agent curing typical sandy soil is studied systematically, the results show that the low temperature curing agent of the class of ceramic components in the aqueous medium conditions, the agent through the porcelain, red mud, slag, coal ash to play their own performance, resulting in superposition, and final generation of aluminum silicate hydrate gel as the main type of mineral chemical bonding ceramic to achieve the curing of powder sand.(4) The pavement performance testing for road base which paved by the technology of low temperature ceramic curing powder sand class shows that its strength and stiffness can completely meet the requirements of technical specifications related to highway construction.
