With growing concern of environmental, energy and rapid growth of vehicle,safety, power, economy, control, comfort, emissions and et al for vehicles are increasing. The amount of vehicle functions are much increased, therefore the control methods become more and more complex. In recent years, a best solution for vehicle is always being sought around the power, economy, emissions and others, so the precisely control for gasoline engine is being paid more and more attention. The paper has carried out an intelligent control on research of performance simulation for gasoline engine fuel injection and proposes a self-optimizing control of gasoline engine fuel injection on the basis of analyzing the fuel injection system of gasoline engine. The main work and innovations of the thesis are as follows:(1) Researched the electronic control fuel injection system of gasoline engine. Analyzing the control requirements of air-fuel ratio of gasoline engine in different conditions, a self-optimizing control strategy of gasoline engine fuel injection system corresponds to a variety of conditions has been designed to make the performance simulation model of gasoline engine fuel injection system have the ability of intelligent learning and self-regulation, also keep the air-fuel ratio in an ideal value and achieve the best conversion efficiency of three way catalytic converter (TWC).(2) Analysis the characteristics, working principles and functions of a variety of sensors and actuators in the vehicle gasoline engine electronic control system, the performance simulation model of vehicle gasoline engine fuel injection system has been built in AMESim.(3) Researched basic structures and functions of the electronic control system, the appropriate control models and patterns have been determined to design the self-optimizing control strategy for the vehicle gasoline electronic fuel injection system. Then an intelligent controller has been designed in Stateflow of Simulink to achieve the optimal control for the air-fuel ratio of gasoline engine fuel injection.(4) Researched co-simulation method of AMESim and Simulink and achieved the modeling and co-simulation for the vehicle gasoline fuel control system. The vehicle gasoline engine fuel injection systems with PID, neural network and self-optimizing intelligent controller gasoline engine has been co-simulated and the results have been analyzed through comparison. The results show that the intelligent controller can enable the gasoline engine to work in an ideal range of air-fuel ratio and have a significant role on reducing vehicle emissions.
