Hydraulic motor-pump is a new electro-hydraulic power unit which integratesoil-immersed motor and hydraulic pump in the housing. It has many advantages such ascoaxial components, free cooling fan, cooled by oil, free outrigger shaft, free motive seal,more compact structure and lower noise.Oil-immersed motor is taken as the research object. Octagonal motor is designedconsidering the decrease of motor stator dimension to obtain more compact hydraulicmotor-pump. The electromagnetic properties and temperature fields of circular motor andoctagonal motor are simulated and solved, and the results are compared and analyzed.The main contents of this thesis:In chapter1, the background and significance of the thesis are presented. Domestic andoverseas study and development of hydraulic motor-pump are summarized. The application offinite element analysis method on motor analysis and design, and its value to the issue arestated, and the main research content of the thesis is presented.In chapter2, the motor structural characteristic of hydraulic motor-pump and operatingprinciple are introduced. The power and torque relations in oil-immersed motor are analyzed,based on basic electromagnetic relations. The basic equations, equivalent circuit, and phasorgraph are set up by means of electromagnetic relations. Finally, the electromagneticcharacteristic of the motor is analyzed by using Ansoft RMxprt.In chapter3, the influences of the variation of motor stator external diameter on themotor function are analyzed by Ansoft RMxprt. And then circular motor is further designed,and octagon motor is designed. The electromagnetic performances of circular motor andoctagon motor with different diameter are simulated and solved by Ansoft Maxwell. Andelectromagnetic properties under the circumstance of load and unload are analyzed andcompared. Air-gap magnetic inductions of different motor are obtained, and transformed theminto FFT to get the distribution of fundamental harmonic and higher harmonic dealing withthe results of numerical calculation.In chapter4, steady-state analyses on temperature field of motor circular stator andoctagonal stator are analyzed. Each part loss of stator is calculated, and surface heatdissipation coefficient of flow channel is calculated by means of fluid mechanics.3Dsteady-state temperature of circular motor and octagonal motor under load is analyzed byfinite element software ANSYS Workbench, and the heating and cooling of different motor insteady-state operation are obtained.In chapter5, the three-dimensional steady-state temperature field of the secondgeneration hydraulic motor stator vane pump is simulated in numerical method, and thetemperature distribution of motor stator and shell is obtained in load. Through arrangingtemperature sensor at different position on hydraulic motor vane pump which we havedeveloped, we get real-time temperature field and temperature change characteristic in everymonitor point.
