Nowadays, energy efficiency and environmental protection are drawing more and more attention, continuous improvement of solar heating and heat pump technology in recent years, it promises solar heating system with seasonal heat storage a distinct advantage in energy efficiency and environmental protection. In this paper, a solar heating system with seasonal water tank heat storage system was designed for a building in Beijing. It utilized the heat of solar radiation and heat storage capacity of underground, expanded the depth and breadth of solar energy.Based on FLUENT software platform, used the user defined function (UDF), a three-dimensional numerical model was carried out on the solar heating system with seasonal water tank heat storage system. Two models were built through similarity principle and the theory of temperature stratification, based on these models, the computation time can be shortened largely and the shortest time can be shorted to two or three hours, at the same time the investment and experiment time can be decreased greatly too.The temperature stratification model of solar heating system with seasonal water tank heat storage system was analyzed on the rate of solar energy, efficiency of the collector, the heat lose and average temperature of water tank. The optimal phase storage of a sensible/latent solar heating system with seasonal water tank heat storage system was established, then, the impacts of soil type and collector area to the performance of the system, melting and solidification rate of the phase storage were analyzed. At end, it proved that compare with the sensible system, the sensible/latent system can get the biggest increase of solar fraction of37.43%, which have the same collector area of800m2.This paper analyzed a typical system through energy and exergy method, then, it was proved that exergy method is more accurate than that based on energy. In addition, a method of P1P2is used to measure the economy of solar heating system with seasonal water tank heat storage system, which conclude system life, energy consumption, the construction of various components of the system maintenance and depreciation, moreover, an optimized collector area can be get based on this method.
