Research On Existing Railway Bridge Application Of Root Pile Technique In Reinforce Foundation

By the research on basic characteristics of strengthening construction base using root pile, discussion for status and theory of current application, and research for geological condition of One Bridge Project (include geomorphological measurement structures investigation,hydrological survey,geophysical prospecting), this paper combine those with somewhat factors, such as stratum structure of base, properties of geotechnical engineering, adjacent environment, conditions and cost of construction, etc. After comprehensive technical and economic analysis and contrast, we chose the root pile, which is to strengthen the base of One Bridge; it benefits not only fewer disturbances for Railway and the original foundation, but also convenient for construction. Therefore, the proposal involved in both stiffness strengthening and costs of construction reducing. We are able to aware that the root pile reinforcement has made good effect in both railway and bridge foundation through results of the numerical simulation.By analyzing example of One Bridge project and informative construction of reinforcement effect before and after impoundment, this paper proved it is convenient and working efficiency and economical to reinforce One Bridge by using root pile. The earth under the foundation is improved effecvtively. Using the method of this paper, we can not only expand the field of root pile application, solve the problem of can not construct normally caused by the limited of construction conditions and sites, but also make a good advising for other engineerings like this one.
