The soil and water loss modes, intensities and types are varying nowadays with the development of economy, changes of people's dietetic structures and agricultural production and management means. Hence, soil and water loss in economic forests as a model under this new situation has been listed into the key control cortege. These new soil and water loss characteristics have led to new challenges and research contents for soil and water conservation study. The investigation of soil and water loss characteristics and better design of soil and water conservation measures in economic forests, which play an important role in study of soil and water loss disciplinarian and implement of soil and water measures, is one of the mainly study contents of soil and water loss characteristic and conservation. In order to research the soil and water loss characteristics in economic forests of Zhejiang province, slopes planted with Phyllostachys heterocycla forest, Castanea mollissima forest and Carya forest were chosen as typical types to study soil and water loss intensities and disciplinarian and discuss the influence of soil and water loss on soil specialities via field survey, fixed point monitor on typical slope and testing of soil physical and chemistry properties. Based on mentioned above, this study discussed the optimization of combination models of soil and water conservation measures. And results indicated that:Firstly, the order of soil loss intensity in three economic forests was Castanea mollissima forest> Carya forest>Phyllostachys heterocycla forest. Erosion occurred mainly on upslope, deposition occurred on downslope and there were both erosion and deposition phenomenon on middle slope and this disciplinarian varied obviously with increase of slope length.Secondly, the mainly soil and water loss way is surface erosion, which led to coarse slope and thin soil layer, in south economic forest slope with short distance of creepage erosion and there were few channel erosion. The impact of soil and water loss on soil fertility was covered up due to disturbing of human fertilization.Thirdly, the emphasis of soil and water conservation measure in economic forest is control of runoff volume because of steep slope and more rainfall in south. In addition, combination of vegetable intercropping and interplant measures should be optimized and forest-shrub-grass model with multilayer and economic values should be cultivated based on the slope water conservancy.
