Studies Of The Application Of Feeding Yeast Molasses In Lactating Dairy Cows

The objective of this study was to measure the effects of Yeast Molasses on Palatability, feed intake, milk production, mlk cmposition, nitrogen metabolism, apparent digestibility of nutrients and body condition.The study included two experiments. Experiment one was effects of Yeast Molasses on Palatability and Feed Intake. 32 lactating dairy cows was divided into two group by random, which was contral group and experimental group. The lactating dairy cows of eperimental group were feed 1.5 kg Yeast Molasses per day.The diet component of contral group which is no Yeast Molasses was equal to that of eperimental group. The experiment lasted 5 days, with the first 2 days for change over and adatation and 3 days for experimental measurements and determine feed intake of 0.5h and 24h. Experiment two was effects of Yeast Molasses on Production Performance in lactating dairy cows. Holstein cows were used in a paired design.The experiment was. 40 lactating dairy cows was divided into two group by random, which was contral group and experimental group. The lactating dairy cows of eperimental group were feed 1.5 kg Yeast Molasses per day.The diet component of contral group which is no Yeast Molasses was equal to that of eperimental group. The experiment lasted 5 days, with the first 14 days for change over and adatation and 70 days for experimental measurements and determine milk production, mlk cmposition, nitrogen metabolism, apparent digestibility of nutrients and body condition.The study results showed that milk production, mlk cmposition and body condition was unaffected by Yeast Molasses(P>0.05), but feed intake of 0.5h and 24h, urea nitrogen in urine, apparent digestibility of ash were higher (P < 0.05) for Yeast Molasses than the control. Yeast Molasses decreased Somatic cell count than the control (P<0.05).Overall, Yeast Molasses had good Palatability and increased feed intake; Yeast Molasses also improved health condition in lactating dairy cows; Yeast Molasses also could replaced the same level's concentrate supplement and increased income of 4.5 yuan per day and per lactating dairy.
