Land consolidation is a behavior that is directed at raising the quality of cultivated land and increasing effective cultivation areas, as well as improving the agricultural and ecological condition and ecological environment by means of taking various measures to comprehensively regulate fields, water, roads, woods and villages. After the implementation of this project, a high quality of lands, increased cultivation areas, improved agricultural and ecological environment and better production and living conditions for peasants will be obtained. What's more, this project will also help promote the utilization of lads and increase effective arable lands to the extent that the ratio of newly-increased farmland area that accounts for the whole project area will reach up to 21.17%. In addition, this project will also make an overall planning and comprehensive renovation of lands covered by the project, complete agricultural facilities and enhances agricultural production conditions and ecological environment of farmland. After regulation, the project area will be constructed into a high standard farmland where fields are squared, lands are stretched, ditches are interlinked, roads are connected and woods are formed into a network; Security level of irrigation water will reach 75% and hydraulic facilities will be all-around supported.The main engineering content of this regulation project is:(1) land consolidation and field design:adopt southern CASS6.1 software, design field surface elevation, and calculate earth volume of land formation works of the project area. According to actual requirement, fill and level up ditches that are partly locate in the internal plot and no longer possess value; smooth the discarded earth of the newly-excavated drain; in order to promote the utilization of water resources, arrange the land into a 1/1000 slope along the irrigation direction, so that irrigation water will advance evenly along given gradient. (2) Hydraulic farming engineering design:irrigation design reliability is 75%. Build 2 silt-rushing lateral ditches with overall length of 1360m; 2 silt-rushing bucket ditches with overall length of 6508m; 3 silt-rushing farm ditches with overall length of 3735m; 8 rill ditches with overall length of 8568m. (3) road design:farmland road:according to square fields planning demands, plan 5 field paths with overall length of 5.448km; 9 production roads with overall length of 9.623km. Total road length is 15.071km. (4) Other engineering design:in order to improve ecological environment of the farmland, arboreal internals are 3m, plant 6840 poplars to which local residents show preference.After the completion of the project, a total increase of 58.7416 hectares on agricultural lands will e achieved, and the social, economic and ecological benefit is remarkable. In the meanwhile, its effect to ameliorate regional inclement ecological environment, floods, soil erosion, draught and other natural disasters such as blown sand is obvious. Furthermore, it plays significant roles in optimizing the external environment. The implementation of this project makes for the mechanization of farming, large-scale production and intensification management of ecological agricultural construction and sustainable development strategy, which will promote the development of agricultural industrialization.
