The mechanism restriction and the interactive impact of the environment with their influence on stand growth place an important role nowadays. The traditional empirical equations are no longer satisfy the needs of the refined simulation on stand growth which are the forester looking forward to. The mechanism models and hybrid models based on the eco-physiological process are wildly used in forest management, forest dynamic simulation and visualization systems.For the sake of studying the application effect of the stand growth mechanism models based on the eco-physiological process that can be used in the visualization system and simulating how the stand environment and structure influent its growth process, this paper established the stand level growth process model. After simulation by the process model, the optimal whole stand increment has been obtained. This paper build environment competition factor and structure weighting coefficient based on the neighborhood competition effect. The two factors are composite into one competition factor as the principle allocating the whole stand increment. In order to test and verify the validity of the methodology, this paper develop the stand growth simulation and visualization module with good quality results to visualize the stand growth pattern of the environment interaction. The following respects are the mainly researches of this paper.1,This paper simulate the maximum stand growth biomass through the stand process model based on the mechanism model taking account of the eco-physiological principles. The environment factor model is developed for the sake of modifying the maximum growth biomass to the real increment.2,The tree resource competition factor and structure weighting coefficient are built considering the tow aspect of the tree competition in stand. Then the two factors are being integrated into one indicator that represents the comprehensive abilities of getting the increment. 3,Finally, With the Chinese fir artificial stand in Huangfengqiao Forest Farm, Hunan, as the researching subject, besides, uses the reforestation as an example based on the methodology put forward before.
