This research studied eight cultivar lines of Dorotheanthus bellidiformis ,cultivated and crossed them for two years in horticultural pot of northwest a&f university horticulture in yangling in shaanxi.During two years ,we recorded the ornamental characters of the parents, through the characteristic color reaction and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy scanning qualitative , analysed pigment species, by using NCII, and analysed fertility and pollination through seeds setting percentage. Finally, through the observation,measure and recording of hybrid F1, we analysed the performance of F1 hybrids. thus speculating the genetic expression of offspring in Dorotheanthus bellidiformis The main results are as follows:1. We studied eight cultivar lines of Dorotheanthus bellidiformis through the traditional artificially selfing and NCII, analysing the pollen viability, pollination and hybridization setting.The results showed that: the best culture medium that cultivate pollen of Dorotheanthus bellidiformis is 250g/L sucrose + 0.03 g/L boric acid, the more accurate way to assay the pollen viability is relatively I2-KI staining, In eight cultivar lines, orange and yellow lines showed the most strangest pollen viability, the following was melon red and the white lines, Gold zone in pink and Gold zone in crimson experssed more powerful than White zone in pink and White zone in crimson.Except the white, orange and yellow three lines , other lines all tend to incompatibility .As hybridization setting knowable, the stigma of orange, yellow and melon red three lines is poorer, not suitable for as female, but its pollen viability is the strongest, should be male. However White zone in crimson and Gold zone in crimson showed the opposite.2.We study the specific color reactions, UV-visible spectrum and treatment under different temperature ,dark and natrual light among eight cultivar line.The results showed that the petal anthocyanidins belonged to flavonoids including flavones anthocyanins substance and might contain isoflavones flavanones,flavanonols,but no chalaones and aurones; White zone in crimson , Gold zone in crimson and Melon red lines contain anthocyanin with acyl group ,flavone and flavonol ,Gold zone in pink , White zone in crimson and Gold zone in crimson lines include flavanonol except flavone and flavonol; Flavonoids in eight cultivar lines include alcoholichydroxyl and hydroxyketone ,no phenolichydroxyl ; There were very big effects of temperature on the stability of petal anthocyanidins; Under dark and natural light show significant difference,there were signifcant difference among different cultivar lines,too.3. We studied the genetic performance of some characters in F1 generation with the 14 cross combinations among 8 varieties of Dorotheanthus bellidiformis,and compared the corresponding traits of parents and then calculated the narrow sense heritability. The results showed that the color,Flower Heart,head diameter,crown diameter and height of flower in F1 plants display heterosis obviously . The mean f lower head diameter, crown diameter and height of flower of hybrid were 100.3%,106.6% and 103.8% of parent srespectively, but the below parent individuals still existed. The results indicated that the genetic heritability of head diameter, crown diameter and height of flower of hybrid tend to be maternal inheritance. The Gold zone in pink line and White zone in crimson line was the stronger than white line,other five lines shows separation widely,were the combination of incomplete dominance and codominantinheritance.The orange,yellow and Melon red lines belong to quantitative inheritance. White heart appeared in yellow heart of flowers ,it indicated that white heart was the combination of incomplete dominance to the yellow heart.There is a close relationship between the cytoplasm and heredity of cultivar lines.
