Suction Trap is a large-scale plant protection equipment for a long-term monitoring spatial and temporal dynamics of small migratory insects, it usually be use for monitoring migratory pest population and doing ecological studies. It works through the powerful suction of air power plant, when the class of small insects as aphids flying over the top of it,them will be suction into the sample collection bottle. The type and number of insects in the Sample collection bottle reflects the migrating insect population dynamics in the air (to the height of the suction trap,it can collected in the range 6-12 m). The suction trap is established by Chinese Academy of Sciences at Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences (30.5°N,114.3°E) which located in Hubei Wuhan Hong mountainous area. We use the suction trap collected migratory insects in 2009 and 2010, and identified them subjects, for make clear the major group and it migration dynamic of the migratory insects in Wuhan area. By fluke aphid samples collected from the suction trap, statistical Wuhan main types of migratory aphids. Study of the main population's dynamics by compare to others.Explore the main migratory populations of aphids, study the migration start, peak and end of.Use of the main natural enemies samples collected by the suction trap in the same period, explore the relationship between the dynamic of natural enemie and the dynamic of the aphids. The main results are as follows:1) The insects collected mainly Diptera and Homoptera, in Wuhan area, migratory insects migration peak is in May, migration dynamic is from enhance to decrease.2) In Wuhan area, migratory aphid species are mainly Sitobion avenae Fabricius, Schizaphis graminum Rondani and Aphis gossypii Glover. And Sitobion avenae Fabricius is the dominant species. The migration Dynamic of the three aphids are similar, they all reach its migration peaks in may. The main Natural Enemies are ladybirds, bees and hover flies. The dynamic migration of the Natural Enemies showing close or delay trend with aphids.3) The Migratory behavior of Aphis gossypii Glover, Sitobion avenae Fabricius and Schizaphis graminum Rondani all main relate to temperature. Principal component analysis display temperature and wind speed play major roles.
