To compare and analyse the effect of different preservatives on senescense of cut flowers, 8-hydroxyl quinoline (8-HQ), and aluminum sulfate (Al2(SO4)3) and salicylic acid (SA)--- the 3 species preservatives are used to process cut rose, carnation and chrysanthemum flower, and the quality indicators (appearance changes, weight changes, bringtness changes, chroma changes), aging indicators (MDA content, and soluble protein content) and anti-oxidation physiological indicators (SOD activity, CAT activity, POD activity) are determined in the bottle plug process.1. Experimental study on the cut rose flower shows that: in terms of quality indicators of cut rose flower, 8-HQ can maintain the appearance of cut flowers, moisture and bringtness better; in terms of aging indicators, 8-HQ processing has a certain effect on the content control of MDA in cut flowers, it can scavenge free radicals and reactive oxygen species, increase tissue protein content in cut flowers, delay the senescence of fresh cut flowers, Al2(SO4)3 and SA processing only have a certain role in protein content in cut flowers; in terms of antioxidant physiological indicators, Al2(SO4)3 processing has a certain effect on activity of SOD and CAT. As a comprehensive analysis, the 8-HQ preservative has better effect on cut rose flower.2. Experimental study on cut carnation flower shows that: in terms of quality indicators of cut carnation flower, SA has a better effect on the appearance, chroma and water retention of cut carnation flower, Al2(SO4)3 have an effect on water retention and chroma of cut flowers; in the terms of aging indicators, 8-HQ, SA and Al2(SO4)3 treatments have a certain effect on MDA content control in fresh cut flowers of carnation, it can scavenge free radicals and reactive oxygen species, increase tissue protein content in cut flowers, delay the senescence of fresh cut flowers; in terms of antioxidant physiological indicators, 3 kinds of treatment have no significant effect. As a comprehensive analysis, SA preservative has better effect on cut carnation flower.3. Experimental study on cut chrysanthemum flower shows that: in terms of cut chrysanthemum flowers' quality indicators, 8-HQ, Al2(SO4)3 and SA all have a good performance on the appearance, bringtness, chroma and water retention of cut flowers; in terms of aging indicators, Al2(SO4)3 processing and SA processing have a very good result on MDA content in cut chrysanthemum flower, it can scavenge free radicals and reactive oxygen species, increase tissue protein content in cut flowers, delay the senescence of fresh cut flowers; in terms of antioxidant physiological indicators, Al2(SO4)3 has a certain effects on activity of CAT. As a comprehensive analysis, Al2(SO4)3 preservative has better effect on cut chrysanthemum flower.
