Willow is characterized by fast growing, early mature, high yield, easy to replant, and finetexture. Consequently, it is one of the most common trees of industrial raw material forest, fastgrowning and high yield forest, farmland shelterbelt and ideal urban and rural afforesting andgreening trees. Bamboo Salix is a relative superior Salix genus of the Salicaceae and developedrapidly in recent years. With the acceleration of Bamboo Salix planting, the fertilizer formula forfast growing and high yield of Willow is in urgent need. Therefore, bamboo seedling and1-year-old Bamboo Salix were studied in different fertilizer formulas. The influence of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium on the growth of willow was analyzed. The aim of this study was toelucidate the nutritional characteristics of Bamboo Salix, to evaluate the optimum fertilizationaccording to the height, diameter, volume of Bamboo Salix by regression equation. It is ofpractical significance to provide the basic fertilization technique of fast-growing and high-yieldof Willow. The results obtained may be concluded as:1) At medium fertilizer application level (treatment6), the seedling photosynthetic indexes,such as Pn,Tr,Gs,Ci and WUE were significantly improved in potted experiments. Thephotosynthetic process was obviously inhibitated owing to the lack (treatment2) or excess(treatment11) of nitrogen fertilizer.2) The parameter of chlorophyll fluorescence on the response of fertilization has the similartrend with the photosynthetic index. Medium level of fertilizer application (treatment6) wasfavor for the improvement of the parameters of chlorophyll fluorescence (φPo,φEo,ψo,ABS/RC,TRo/RC,ETo/RC, etc.). A lack or excess of nitrogen fertilizer (treatment2and11) wasnot conducive to the improvement of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters.3) The content of chlorophyll increased at first and then decreased with fertilizer application.The influence of fertilization on the content of chlorophyll b was greater than chlorophyll a. Theinfluence of fertilizers on chlorophyll of willow was in the following order: N> P> K.4) Results showed that there were some differences of the nutrient elements (N, P, K)accumulation in different willow organizations, the order is: leaf> skin> root> twig, Thecontent of nitrogen was in the order of leave> twig> skin> root, phosphorus and potassiumwere in the order of leaf> skin> twig> root, leaf> skin> root> twig, respectively. Thecumulant of nitrogent and potassium was much greater than phosphorus.5) The diameter and height of willow seedling were greatly affected by the fertilizerapplication. Medium level of fertilizer application (treatment6) obviously promoted the growthof Willow. The height and diameter of willow seedling was110.30cm and0.88cm, increased by43.81%and72.55%than the control. A lack or excess of N (treatment2,11) was not conduciveto the seedling growth. Fertilizer application had a positive influence on willow biomass. The biomass of willow in treatment6was the largest and1.48times than the control. The biomass intreatment2was smallest in all fertilizer applicaiton treatments,1.02times than the control.6) Regression equation on estimate the optimum fertilizer application was obtained by theanalyse of height, diameter and biomass of the willow. The optimum fertilizer applications ofnitrogen, phosphorus and potassium were2.20~2.37,0.86~1.51, and0.77~1.14g/plant,respectively.7) Fertilizer application obviously promoted the growth of1-year-old planted Willow. Theheight, DBH and volume of willow in treatment6was promoted significantly, with11.86%,6.24%and50.70%increasement compared with the control, and with58.50%,43.41%and233.16%increasement before fertilizer applicated.8) The optimum fertilizer application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium for1-year-old willow was calculated by regression equation, and the values were133.82~148.69,57.14~71.42and41.22~66.76g/plant, respectively. Suitable application rate of N, P, K forwillow growth of height, DBH, and volume was2.8:1.1:1,2:1:1and3.4:1.7:1,respectively.9) The increasing volume of willow reached12.98m3/a/ha afte fertilizer application.Consequently, an increase of10384yuan of the timber income,37dollars (about259yuan) ofthe carbon storage income was evaluated. |
