| Indoor air quality is more concerned with human's life. In modern societies, people spendmost of their time staying indoors, the polluted chemistry gases was produced in people's livingenvironment, which are harm for people's health, people are in eager to improving indoor airquality by effective way to get better living environment, and the plant has its unique advantage inthis respect.Takeing an investigation on the common indoor ornamental plants thatthe consumers oftenbuy in Wushan Square's Fish-Bird-Flower market, Qianjiang's Fish-Bird-Flower market, FengqiRoad's Fish-Bird-Flower market and other 3 Fish-Bird-Flower markets. This thesis chose Pelargoniumodoratissimum, Pelargonium graveolens, Chlorophytum comosum, Aspidistra elatior,Dracaena reflexa, Pelargonium hortorum, Chamaedorea elegans, Ficus elastica, Scindapsusaureun, Cymbidium sp., Sansevieria trifasciata var. Laurentii as the main material from Surveyresults. Determined formaldehyde content through the use of the 4160-3 type of formaldehydedetector in formaldehyde fumigation box and to compare among the capability of absorbing formaldehydeof these plants, and chose Pelargonium odoratissimum, Chlorophytum comosum, etc. 9kinds of commonest indoor ornamental plants as the main material, Under the condition of TDS,the volatile matter was extracted by dynamic headspace collection method, and the composition ofthe extract was detected by gas chrom atographmass spectrometer (GC-MS), and carrie out thequantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results are show as following :(1)90% of the volatile matter of Pelargonium odoratissimum are oleate and alkane, 70% ofthe volatile matter of Chlorophytum comosum are oleate and aromatic hydrocarbon, 80% of thevolatile matter of Epipremnum aureum are oleate, alkane, lipid and aromatic hydrocarbon, 75% ofthe volatile matter of Dracaena reflexa are oleate, alcohol, Aldehydes and lipid,70% of the volatilematter of Ficus elastica are alkane and aromatic hydrocarbon, 75% of the volatile matter of Pelargoniumgraveolens are oleate and Aldehydes, above 89% of the volatile matter of Pelargniumhortorum are oleate, 80% of the volatile matter of Chamaedorea elegans and Aspidistra elatior arealkane and aromatic hydrocarbon, more than 90% of the volatile matter of Pelargonium odoratissimum,Pelargonium graveolens, Pelargonium hortorum are terpene and its oxide. Except Ficuselastica, other 8 kinds of interior plants all haveα-pinene, Scindapsus aureun, Dracaena reflexa,Ficus elastica, Aspidistra elatior and Chamaedorea elegans all have pelargol, Pelargonium odoratissimum,Scindapsus aureun, Pelargonium graveolens, Dracaena reflexa and Aspidistra elatiorall have Camphene, Pelargonium odoratissimum, Scindapsus aureun, Pelargonium graveolens,Dracaena reflexa and Pelargonium hortorum all haveα-pinene,menthone, camphene, linalool andocimenum, Chlorophytum comosum, Dracaena reflexa and Scindapsus aureun all haveα-pineneand benzaldehyde, these volatile matters are active bioactive. This shows that the species and thecontent of volatile matter of different plant are different, and the species of the main volatilematter is different, but different plants have the same volatile matters. (2)The performance of absorbs formaldehyde of 11 kinds potted plant in 2.53~4.18mg·m-3,the rated volume of the proportion of absorbs formaldehyde is: Chlorophytum comosum > Scindapsusaureun > Pelargonium graveolens > Cymbidium sp. > Pelargonium hortorum > Sansevieriatrifasciata > Ficus elastica > Phildendron sellomn > Chamaedorea elegans > Aspidistra elatior >Dracaena reflexa. The performance of absorbs formaldehyde of 11 kinds of plant leaves in 1.63~3.35 mg·m-3, the rated volume of the proportion of absorbs formaldehyde is: Chlorophytum comosum> Aspiistra elatior > Ficus elastica > Sansevieria trifasciata > Dracaena reflexa > Pelargoniumgraveolens > Cymbidium sp. > Chamaedorea elegans > Phildendron sellomn > Scindapsusaureun > Pelargonium hortorum. This shows that the capacity of absorbing formaldehyde of plantleaves lower than full potted plant, the whole plant is composed by plant leaves of abovegroundparts and soil– root of underground part, so the soil– root also can absorb formaldehyde, but themain factors of absorbing formalde hyde is the physical absorption of soil or the physical absorptionon soil crumb structure, and this need to be further studied.Chlorophytum comosum is thehighest of the capacity of absorbing formaldehyde at plant and plant leaves.Through these studies of the volatile matter from leaves and indoor ornamental plants purificationformaldehyde. people can choose some plants who can purification formaldehyde andvolatilize organic matter which are benifit for people's health, at the same provide theoretical basisfor realistic indoor ornamental plants Application. |
