Azoxystrobin is the first product of the strobilurin fungicides with high level and broad Prectrum of fungicidal activity, and it is environmentally safe. But when azoxystrobin is used in farming, it may cause poisoning when users increase the concentration of fungicides in order to improve its germicidal efficacy. Maize grown in water and soybean grown on arenaceous quartz are the subjects of this study which is about the influence plant growth regulators mixed with azoxystrobin on the seedlings of maize and soybean and the efficacy of the compound. Our purpose is to resolve the damage that azoxystrobin causes in the agricultural production and to lay a foundation for the compound of plant growth regulator and azoxystrobin scientifically.The study finds that azoxystrobin whose concentration is higher than the maximum is toxic to the growth of maize and soybean seedling. The higher concentration, the more severe damage. The experiment on maize seedling indicates that Quadris (which contains 22.9% azoxystrobin) diduted 1000 times makes the fresh weight of shoot reduce by 20.42% and the leaf growth is inhibited. Likewise, the experiment on soybean seedling indicates that Quadris diduted 1000 times makes the dry and fresh weight of shoot reduce by 32.98% and 23.92%, and the growth rate of shoot decreased. But Quadris has little influence on the root of both kinds of seedling.The experiments on the efficacy of the compounds of azoxystrobin and four plant growth regulators, namely, 10mg/L sodium nitrophenolate, 10mg/L DTA-6,200mg/L Choline Chloride and 300mg/L Inositol, on the maize seedling growth indicate that the efficacy vaires. Sodium nitrophenolate and DTA-6 both can increase the fresh weight of maize shoot and accelerate leaf growth. The two chemicals can also relieve growth inhibition of maize seedling on stress of azoxystrobin. Inositol can relieve growth inhibiton of maize leaf on stress of azoxystrobin.Choline Chloride can relieve fresh weight inhibiton of maize on stress of azoxystrobin. The experiments on soybean seedlings show that Sodium nitrophenolate,DTA-6 and Choline Chloride all can relieve the inhibition produced by azoxystrobin, increase the dry and fresh weight of soybean shoot, accelerate the growth rate of shoot. But Inositol can not alleviate the toxicity.
