Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy, a country's fundamental, is worthy of the "mother industry". Whether it is the top priority from an economic point of view, social or political point of view, agriculture is our country must be resolved. The development of agriculture can not be complished without the water. China is a country short of water resources. Although the annual total water resources of2.8000trillion m3, but the average river flow of2.7115trillion m3,groundwater is882.8billion m3, only ranking the sixth in the world. But water resources per capita is only2500cubic meters, the world number121, involves in the United Nations13water-poor countries. In order to ensure sustainable development, and protect water resources, saving daily water consumption, has become essential. Along with the development of modern science and technology, especially the development of agricultural science and technology, application of modern and advanced production technology, it become possible of the traditional mode of agricultural production to modern agricultural production.In order to reduce labor costs, and agricultural water use, the design is based on single chip water-saving control system. The whole system is divided into the information collection, data processing and control section. The information gathering part collects soil information ontime accurate through the sensor, and send it to the control part. Then the control part of the acquisition processes the results, analysis, and make a scientific decision-making to achieve the purpose of saving water resources. The information collection section includes information acquisition module, as well as by temperature, humidity sensor data sending module and display module. Processing control section includes a data transceiver module, the control module. Control circuit has two operating modes, which are manual mode and automatic mode, providing a variety of options for people to operate the equipment. Agricultural irrigation controller can not only save water resources, but also allows people to free from the daily complicated production and living, improve agricultural production and the degree of automation to reduce labor intensity. The essay major details on the information collection part and the collection part, and the method of analysis,designing and implementing on both part of software and hardware. The system is simulated and designed on Medwin platform.
