In this article, the biological characteristics and occurrence regularity of D.vitifoliae were discussed by using five systemic pesticides, painting stem, the combination of pesticides and rootstock. The study screened out great pesticides and rootstocks, the results provide technical support and the basis to control the spread of D.vitifoliae. Grape phylloxera, Daktulosphaira vitifoliae (Homoptera, phylloxeridae) is one of the most destructive insect of cultivated grapes. It was found only on vitis vine and also was a quarantine of China. In this research, sensitivity of different development stages of D.vitifoliae of 5 systemic pesticides in bioassay and also the control of these pesticides against D.vitifoliae by using tree-trunk lacquer method in field were evaluated. In the study, the resistance of eight newly rootstock varieties of grape to phylloxera were evaluated through laboratory bioassays and pot trials. Therefore, by combining the better pesticides and rootstock, the sensitivity of different development stages of D.vitifoliae were measured. The results as follows:(1) The sensitivity of D.vitifoliae to phoxim emulsifiable concentrate and pirimicarb WP in different development stages were high in laboratory and had the best control effect, but the control effect was badly in field with tree-trunk lacquer method.(2) Though laboratory bioassays and pot trials, the results showed that:the rootstock of Huajia NO.8 was susceptible to grape phylloxera and the resistance graded as Class 3 The rootstock of Beida was conferred low resistant to grape phylloxera and the resistance graded as Class 2. The rootstock of 3309C, 110Rand Lot graded as Class 1.5BB, SO4 and 1103P were conferred highly resistance to grape phylloxera and the resistance graded as Class 0.(3) The sensitivity of D.vitifoliae was finally evaluated by combining two selected pesticides:phoxim emulsifiable concentrate and pirimicarb WP with two rootstocks:5BB and SO4.The results showed that the control effect was better in two groups:pirimicarb WP with SO4 and phoxim emulsifiable concentrate with 5BB. They also have a better effect on the decline rate of the insect density.
