Barley is the world forth biggest crop , the important feedstuff and industrial raw material of our nation.The barley can be divided into hull barley and hull-less barley according to the existence of the cover on the seed.hull-less barley is also called the wild oat which is the main crop of the Tibetan Plateau.With the development of Breeding of Barley and the production ,it increases the importance of the research and utilization on imported barley breed resources.The study adopted the experiment of observation of adaptability on 64 imported barley resources.Then took the proper sort as the male parent to . hybridize with the Tibetan Plateau hull-less barley. We analyse the advantage of F1 to improving the usage of imported barley seed resources.The main research findings are as followings:1,Through the analysis and comparison on the investigation and research of agricultural characters and the adaption,we conclude that most kinds of the imported barley breed resources are earlier than the compared spicking period.27 sorts are earlier than the compared ones ,27 are later than that on the harvest period.. As for gowth period most kinds are longer than the compared time.The difference between the plant types of young seedlings is little. ,most of which are erect type with mostly gray green leaves and green leaves.The majority of the leaf shapes are acclivity and erect growing.,and the blades are lathy.As for the antireversion force,most of them exist strongly.40 exsist slightly lodging ,20 of which exsit a stronger resistance to lodging .For the plant-high level ,it appears stalks are comparatively high.Most of the varieties are king rod or top spin.Internode length under is longer than most of the compared ones.Moreover the single-plant spike degree is higher and the grain number per spike is large.Though the analyze and comparision of the13 imported materials,of whch the deffereces between the varieties are not obvious.The cell production is high than the compared ones.Totally filtering 6 copies of the prematured ones,one dwarfvariety ,1thousand-seed large seed with the mass over 50g and 6 well performed comprehensive characters materials.2,Select the 10 share hull-less barley in Tibetan Plateau..as female parent,11imported varieties as male parent and let them cross.Analysze the data of the parent advantage, the super parent advantage and the modified index.The result shows that except for the plant high , ripe ear rate and the spikelet number per panicle,F1 exist the crossing advantage. The index of the mprovement in Shape exists the highest in the plant high and the ripe ear rate .And secondary is spike number .However the grain number per spike appears negative level advantage.So according to the advantages and disadvantages of the hull-less barley,we should select the higher plant and higher ripe ear rate plants which have the negative level advantage as well as the spike number and the grain number per spike which have the positive level advantages,so that reach the goal ofhull-less barley improvement. .
