Research About The Protection Of Urechis Unicinctus Von Drasche In Northern Waters Of Weifang Binhai District

Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche, commonly known as "the intestines of the sea", is also called "esculenta" in Weifang Binhai District. It belongs to Echiurioidea, Echiurida, Xenopneusta, and Urchidae, and it is the unique species of Xenopneusta distributing the waters of our country. It possesses these features, such as growing fast, high value and etc. Due to the serious depression of other economic fishery resources in Laizhou Bay, Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche has become an important economic sea fishing species, and regional sustainable development of fisheries resources in recent years. However, due to the construction of coastal and marine engineering, fishery environmental pollution and other reasons etc, Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche has atendency to be decreasing. It is urgent to take comprehensive measures to protect them.According to the fluctuations of the fishing number of Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche from 2000 to 2010 in northern waters of Weifang Binhai districts, the level of resources in this district and the using situation of domain Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche has been determined. The study finds that Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche has been in a declining tendency in northern waters of Binhai district. On the basic of research of domestic and abroad datum, giving a comprehensive analysis on resource biological characteristic, habitats, the cause of declining of Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche were found. And giving an analysis on the management of Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche by the government, sonic comprehensive measures aiming at promoting the sustainable development of were provided,From Urechis unicinctus Von Drasche, the local specie, this study explores the comprehensive protection of fisheries resources. The writer wishes the study could be used for reference, increasing the protection of the existing economic fishery resources, and effectively protecting the fisheries environment, the restoration of fisheries resources, and promoting the development of fishery economy. This study has important practical significance.
