To study the significance of the relationship between liver disease by Muscovyduck reovirus and NAGase, and discusss the effect of QiLing medicament to liverfunction of Muscovy duck that infected Muscovy Duck Reovirus.240healthy Muscovy ducks were divided into6groups at random, and everygroup has40ducks. There are the blank group, the cohabitation group, the Hericiumerinaceus polysaccharide group and high, medium, and low doses groups of thepolysaccharide which is from compound QiLing medicament(QiLing polysaccharide).The blank group were raised in separate rooms.The cohabitation group do not eat anypolysaccharide. Adding the polysaccharide in the drinking water.The ducks in high,medium, and low doses groups were subjected to high, medium, and low doses ofQiLing polysaccharide at3days old. The ducks which comes from Hericiumerinaceus polysaccharide group were subjected to Hericium ErinaceusPolysaccharides. The ducks in the cohabitation group, the Hericium erinaceuspolysaccharide group and high, medium, and low doses groups of QiLingpolysaccharide were infected by cohabite infective test at the age of5days. Thechanges of the serum ALT, AST, TBiL, AKP and NAGase activity in young muscovyducklings were studied at2d,3d,4d,6d,10d and16d after infeetion. Through theexperiments, the influence of QiLing polysaccharide on liver injury muscovy duckswere studied systematically.After cohabite infeetion, the clinical symptoms were appeared on several days.Our results show that QiLing polysaccharide and the Hericium erinaceuspolysaccharide can significantly delay the onset time and reduce mortality.microstructure of ducks liver shows that the pathologic changes of infeeted duckswere observed in different degree.But clinical symptoms of the Hericium erinaceuspolysaccharide group and high, medium doses groups of QiLing polysaccharide arelower than the cohabitation group.There were significant differences in ALT, AST, TBiL, AKP and NAGase between the different groups. The QiLing polysaccharide and Hericium erinaceuspolysaccharide were all improved significantly. And the ducks of high doses groupsof the QiLing polysaccharide were better than others.The results showed that the QiLing polysaccharide can improve the recoverytime of the liver function and hepatocyte injury was ameliorated. The changes ofNAG enzyme show that there are some relationship between NAGase and liverfuntion.
