Breast cancer remains an important public health problem for women all over the world. Early clinical manifestations breast cancer patients are usually showed painless breast lumps, only a small number of patients have breast pain without lumps. There are also a very small number of patients showed the breast glandular tissue within the structure and function change. The earlier detection will benefit the diagnosis, recurrence and treatment and improve survival.Early diagnosis techniques of breast cancer usually consist of ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging and X-ray screening. However, these detection methods often require a large investment in equipment, as well as expensive maintenance costs, in addition also requires training of professionals. For some remote areas of the hospitals in china, looking for a cost-affordable, fast and effective method of early detection of breast cancer prevention and treatment of breast cancer would be of great significance. CTCs are cells that spontaneously or falling from solid tumors into the peripheral blood with treatment operations. The number of CTCs in patients is closely related with the development of cancer and tumor metastasis progress and survival.QDs can be combined with magnetic nano-materials. It could enrich and observe cells in living cells or under physiological conditions. In our study, we defined the limit detection of MCF-7 by MTT, RT-PCR and Real-time PCR. Results showed that the magnetic nanoparticles could enrich MCF-7 cells and the limit detection defined by Real-time PCR is 1.14×106:1 (PBMC:MCF-7). The optimum condition of enrichment reaction is pH7.2,35℃and 120min. The combination is closely, and nano-materials can emission fluorescence under certain excitation wavelength. We think that this nanoparticle is useful in practical applications.
