Objectives:To study the therapeutic effect of carotid endarterectomy under different anesthesia. Methods:26 patients who treated by CEA were chosen to retrospective analysis. To observe beneficial effects of CEA from the complications and the cumulative incidence of death, stroke, within 30 days and 6 months after the surgical intervention and severe restenosis at 6 months after operation. We divided patients in different group by different method of anesthesia. Results:26 patients of CEA, a patient operation in two side, Results:27 cases of operation finish successfully. The complication related to the surgery included two cases of peripheral nerves injuries(7.4%), three cases of local hematoma(11.1%), one case of Cadiovascular accident (3.7%), three cases of pulmonary infection(11.1%). Peroperative period have no death case, One case have stork in 30 days after operation(3.7%), One case restenosis in six months(3.7%). Cervical plexus anesthesia group compare with general anesthesia group have no evident different about incidence of stork and complications of lung and heart after operation, Cervical plexus anesthesia group'average stay and average operation time are shorter than general anesthesia group, it have statistical significance. Conclusions:Carotid endarterectomy is a effective way to treat carotid artery stenosis and prevent stork. Cervical plexus anesthesia beneficial hemodynamic stability, reduce high blood pressure.
