【Abject】Detected the expression rates of costimulatory molecules CD80 and CD86 on peripheralblood lymphocytes (PBLs) from patients with autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA)/Evanssyndrome(which erupts simultaneously at the same time or afterwards AIHA), and comparedwith post treatment group and control group, and study their mechanisms of cellular immunefunction disorder and significance in AIHA/Evans syndrome.【Methods】Data were collected from 13 patients with AIHA/Evans syndrome from February 2010 toFebruary 2011 in YueBei People's Hospital affiliated to Shantou University Medical College, themedian age was 47 years old(19 to 72 years old), 6 males and 7 females, and 13 cases of normalcontrols, the median age was 45 years old(20 to 68 years old), 6 males and 7 females. Andamong the 13 AIHA/Evans syndrome patients,4 cases who were treated was post treatmentgroup. By Facs, the expression rates of CD80 and CD86 on PBLs of 13 cases with AIHA/Evanssyndrome,13 normal controls and 4 post treatment cases were detected. Statistical analysis wasexecuted by SPSS17.0 software, a value less than 0.05 was considered as significance.【Results】1. The expression rate of CD80 on PBLs of AIHA/Evans syndrome group was lower aftertreatment than before (1.37±0.82)% VS (7.38±8.69)%(P<0.05),both of which werenot significant different with control group, (1.37±0.82)% VS (0.90±0.48)%(P>0.05) and (7.38±8.69)% (P>0.05) respectively.2. The expression rate of CD86 on PBLs of AIHA/Evans syndrome group was lower aftertreatment than before (3.41±2.62)% VS (11.45±10.91)% (P<0.05),both of whichwere not significant different with the control group, (3.41±2.62)% VS (1.92±0.93)% (P>0.05) and (11.45±10.91)% VS (1.92±0.93)% (P>0.05) respectively.3. The expression rates of CD80 and CD86 on PBLs were not associated with the age, sex, hemoglobin (Hb) concentrations and indirect bilirubin(IBIL)concentrations, absolutevalue of reticulocyte (Ret#).【ConclusionConclusions】1. The expression rates of CD80 and CD86 on PBLs of AIHA/Evans syndrome group werehigher than that of control group, and presume that they may play a significant role inthe pathogenesis of cellular immune mechanism of AIHA/Evans syndrome. Theexpression rates of CD80 and CD86 on PBLs showed no significant difference beforeand after the treatment.2. The expression rates of CD80 and CD86 on PBLs were not associated with the age, sex,Hb concentrations, IBIL concentrations and Ret#, and presume that there were nosignificant correlation between the expression rates of CD80,CD86 and the age, sex, theseverity of AIHA/Evans syndrome.
