Objective The goal of the present study were to observe the relationship between cervical spine X-ray of Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy(CSM),the MRI quantification graduation and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) differentiation to CSM and to research classification of syndrome, providing strategy for clinical treatment.Method Forty-two patients with Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy were ran-domly divided into two groups and there were 26 Male patiants and 16 Female patiants. Clinical symptoms were collected and TCM syndrome differentiation were differentiated. Meanwhile different imaging grade and spinal cord JOA score were given according to the imaging findings. The statistical analysis was made to explore its relevance. Results (1)there were not relationship between TCM syndrome type cervical and imaging classification. (p>0.05).Imaging classification level 1 main type in qi difficiency and blood stasis resistance. Level 2 main type in phlegmy wet block, Level 3 main type in liver and kidney deficiency. Different classification, different proportion of TCM syndrome type distribution of relative balance, No statistically significant differences(p>0.05), Explain imaging guide clinical treatment without scientific and reasonable, TCM syndrome differentiation without considering imaging findings.(2) Three groups of card type to phlegmy wet block type percentage is the largest, Qi difficiency and blood stasis resistance type component, Kidney and liver insufficiency type minimum, JOA score basic equilibrium, no statistically significant(p>0.05).(3) Three groups of card type average age kidney and liver insufficiency qi difficiency and blood stasis type significantly greater than type and phlegmy wet block friction type, Have statistically significant (p< 0.01). Elderly patients with myelopathic type cervical vertebra cross-bred explained.(4) 3 imaging classification not completely equal between average age, Explain positively correlated with imaging age grading linear. Conclusion there were not relationship between TCM syndrome type cervical and imaging classification.
