Objective:To investigate the effects and safety of Shouwu ZexieBaizhu Decoction treating phlegm syndrome of hyperlipidemia.Methods:randomized controlled trial were accorded, patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, all subjects were given a rest, moderate exercise and other conventional basic therapy, the treatment group and control group using the same basic treatment, such as rest, nutrition, exercise and diet treatment. Shouwu ZexieBaizhu Decoction were given, including Bupleurum 6g, angelica 10g, Radix system 15g, Atractylodes fried 10g, Poria 12 g, dried tangerine peel 8g, law Pinellia 10g, Salvia 8g, Health Hawthorn 10g, Alisma 10g. treating for 2 months. Xuezhikang were given to control services, each 0.9 g,2 times a day, orally for 2 months. Observed indicators of efficacy and safety included symptoms and signs, blood tests, liver function, safety indicators, including blood and kidney functions.Results:The treatment group of 60 patients,34 males and 26 females, mean age 55.2 years old, fatty liver in 37 cases (61.7%), hypertension in 9 cases (15%), diabetes in 12 patients (20%). Control group,60 patients,32 males and 28 females, mean age 52.8 years, of which 30 cases of fatty liver (50%), hypertension in 12 cases (20%), diabetes in 14 cases (23.3%). Between the two groups of gender, age, clinical conditions consistent, comparable. After two courses of treatment, the treatment group, the basic recovery in 6 cases,10%; markedly in 19 cases,31.7%; effective in 27 cases,45%; 8 cases, accounting for 13.3% of the total effective rate was 86.7%.8 patients in control group were cured,13.3%; markedly effective in 12 cases,20%; effective in 22 cases, accounting for 36.67%; invalid in 18 cases,30%,70% total efficiency. The chi-square test x2= 7.314, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. Before treatment, or light or heavy are the clinical manifestations, such as dizziness, heavy limbs Ma, head weight, such as wrap, chest tightness, Oue, malaise, fatigue, nausea and other Xiong Xie expansion. Two groups of symptoms and signs prompted two sets of data points statistical difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). Comparing two groups before and after treatment, dizziness, heavy limbs Ma, head weight, fatigue fatigue significantly improved (p<0.01), tongue, chest symptoms also reduce (P<0.05); between two groups after treatment, vertigo, limb Ma heavy, heavy head, fatigue fatigue than the control group the treatment group improved significantly (P<0.01). Its two groups of patients before and after treatment compared to body weight and BMI were significantly improved after treatment body weight and BMI between the two groups showed no statistically significant improvement. In comparing the two groups of patients with TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, before and after treatment comparison group showed significant difference (P all<0.05) between the two groups after treatment and the treatment group improved more significantly (P=0.016), observed before and after treatment of serum ALT, AST, GGT, compared within groups before and after treatment after treatment, liver function suggest a more significant improvement before (P all<0.05) after treatment between the two groups P= 0.027. Two groups of patients during treatment no obvious adverse reactions in patients treated with 2 cases arising in the course taking medicine, loose stools,2-3 times a day for 5 days after the remission. Before and after treatment all subjects routine blood test, renal function showed no abnormality.CONCLUSION:Shouwu ZexieBaizhu Decoction can alleviate phlegm symptoms of hyperlipidemia, improve liver function in patients with lipid levels, with no significent side effects.
