The Relationship Between The Variation Tendency Of Newborn Weight And The Ways Of Delivery

Cesarean section refers to the operations which fetch the fetus from pregnant uterine through cut the pregnant abdominal wall and uterine wall when fetus's term or before. Cesarean section is one of the important ways of dealing with high-risk pregnancy, Selecting the indications cesarean reasonably, can save the high risk pregnant women and newborns' life. With the improvement of living standards, the development of medical science, the change of people conception and the influence of social factors, the cesarean rate both in and abroad has rise very fast in recent decades. According to a report of the World Health Organization, the cesarean section rate in China has reached 46% during October 2007 to May 2008, being the first in the world. Dr. Xie Ruobo, the World Health Organization Representative Office in China, maternal and child health expert, said:"About 46% of pregnant women had a caesarean in China, the ratio was highest in the world. In some hospitals, cesarean section rate even reached 90%. "The rise of cesarean section rate has widely concerned around the worldwide, it became the research hot spot of gynecology and obstetrics doctors and public health experts. According to the data of British medical journal "Lancet" in 2010,25% of the Caesarean section in China is not for medical needs, it can be avoided, that means 5 million cases of caesarean section could be avoided. Some research shows that, cesarean section without any medical features is more harm than natural childbirth; so reducing cesarean section rate has become the important attention subject in obstetric field. Research shows that the main reason of the cesarean section is "requirements" and the main reason of cesarean section is the fetus'over weight, therefore, researching the weight of newborn have important clinical significance.Objective:exploring the newborn weight influence to cesarean section rate in order to achieve the purpose of reducing cesarean rate.Methods:the statistics is from the Jilin province hospital since January 1st in 1990 to December 31st in 2010,21 years in total.The standard is the fetus is 28 gestational week, survive, single tire. The total case is 19879 except do not conform to the standards of material. We analyzed the case involved that it recorded in pregnancy age, pregnancy times, delivery times and pregnancy week when delivery, delivery way newborns gender, birth weight etc, The data should be analyzed by SPSS18.0 software, after arranged and coded. The newborn weight, maternal age, gestational age, pregnant times, deliver times, should be described by average and standard deviation and the ways of deliver, the sex of newborn should be described by rate. The maternal age, gestational age, pregnant times, deliver times, newborn weight of different years should be compared. We have analyzed the relationship between newborn weight and maternal age. We compared the sex rate of newborn in different years, the changing tendency of deliver way, the deliver way of different weight. The change of deliver way of different weight should be test byχ2. The statement is up to the standard as 0.05.Results:1. In the 21 years of average Birth weight is 3.29±0.48 kg,The birth weight has increased overall during 21 years. The lowest birth weight is 3.20±0.46kg in 1992.2. With the increase of newborn weight, the rate of caesarean section tends to be more and more.3. newborns sex ratio (female:male) 1:1.08The cesarean section rate of huge fetal is significantly higher than low weight one and normal one.4. Reasonable prandial,Controlling and reducing the birth weight can effectively reduce the cesarean section rate.
