Type 2 diabetes is an endocrine and metabolic disease charact-erized by insulin resistanceand relatively reduced insulin secre-tion.It is during the last few decades that type 2 diabetes has become an epidemic worldwide not only in adults but also in doles-cents. Because the human genome has not changed in such a short time, it is generally accepted that type 2 diabetes is the result of gene-environmental interaction. Diet is known to play an important role in type 2 diabetes. However, what food component plays a key role is still undetermined. The vitamin has been treaded as the coenzyme and antioxidant of material metabolism. Lacking and unbalancing of the vitamin has played an important role in diabetes and its complications. Such as vitamin B1, which has the water soluble characteristic and played the decisive position in glucose metabolism.Vitamin Bl has the function of maintaining normal metabolism of glucose and nerve conduction, the ceylon sicknesswhen, central nervous system and the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) can be caused if it supplies ran short. On the contrary, when it is excessive it could develop the symptoms of drugging with sleep and light of breath. According to some concerned researches show that the effect of Vitamin B1 on the hyperglycemia to a certain extent. The aim of present study is to investigate the effect of the Vitamin B1 on the impaired glucose tolerance and insulin resistance,so as to offer some practical guidelines for the using of the Vitamin B1.Firstly, this study adopted the glucose tolerance test, using the test paper to fix the level of glucose. The result showed that the blood glucose concentration had been incread in the experimental group (all<11. lmmol/L), it could prove all the rats have the normal glucose tolerance. And the three group of Vitamin B1 (2mg/kg, 10mg/kg,50mg/kg), the degree of the increaing of the rats'blood glucose concentration is lower than the control group which only taking the Vitamin B1, so it is speculated that Vitamin B1 decreased the content of blood glucose, but the blood glucose concentration increased according to the different medication above mentioned so that we could get a conclusion that the ability of decreasing the blood glucose concentration of the Vitamin B1 is not positively correlated with the increasing concentration. And then, the glycogen contents in liver and muscle were determined, we found that the glycogen contents in muscle is lower than the control group, but the other text group showed the different effect, so we can have a tentative conclusion Vitamin B1 may help the glycogen synthesis. The glycogen contents in muscle of the three group of the Vitamin B1 is higer than the control group, with the increasing does from Ong/kg to 2mg/kg to10mg/kg, the glycogen contents in liver is increasing. As the dosage increased to 50mg/kg, the glycogen contents in liver is decreasing. Therefore, it is inferable that the Vitamin B1 can help the glycogen synthesis, but the positive correlation is not displayed. We can get an effect after the plasma insulin test in rats, the glycogen contents in liver of the three group of the Vitamin B1 is lower than the control group, the drawing of a conclusion by reasoning that the Vitamin B1 can not accelerate the exudation of insulin. The concentration of the hydrogen peroxide of the Vitamin B1 (2mg/kg) group is the same with the control group, the concentration of the hydrogen peroxide is increasing with the does increased to 10mg/kg, but when it increased to 50mg/kg, the concentration of the hydrogen peroxide is decreasing deeply. So we may get the conclusion that the Vitamin B1 has the relationship with the increasing effect of the Oxidative Stress, but it may has the reaction beyond the certain does. Those results indicate that the Vitamin B1 can increase insulin secretion, the oxidative stress of the rats, and the glycogen content of normal cells. The research provides the foundation of replying the deep study about the relevance between the Vitamin B1 and the damaged glucose tolerance and the insulin resistance.
