Clinical Research Of Combined Needle And Herbal Decoction Therapy On Menopause Insomnia Pertaining To Disorder Between Heart And Kidney Syndrome

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical curative effect and probe into the mechanism through the clinical research of combined needle and herbal decoction therapy on menopause insomnia pertaining to disorder between heart and kidney syndrome.Methods90 outpatient cases with menopause insomnia pertaining to disorder between heart and kidney syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each with 45 cases.Patients in the treatment group were given combined needle and herbal decoction therapy, with other cases in the control group only given herbal decoction.4 weeks is one period of treatment and two periods were observed.Through PSQI score, serum IL-1. TNF alpha before and after treatment, improvement of insomnia were analyzed. By observation of the change of KI scores before and after the treatment, overall improvement by the combined needle and herbal decoction were analyzed and clinical curative effects were assessed thereby.Results1. Above two treatment were all effective through the assessment of PSQI curative effect. with recovery rate2.22%, significant efficiency82.22%, efficient 4.44%. no effective 11.11%, total effective rate 97.78%;in the treatment group,and recovery rate0%, significant efficiency37.78%, efficient 35.56%. no effective26.67%, total effective rate 73.33% in the control group.There were significant difference concerning the overall efficacy with (P<0.05). Both treatments can improve patients' sleep, but combined needle and herbal decoction therapy is better.2. The KI symptoms sores both got lower after the two treatment with significant difference P<0.01, and KI symptoms sores in treatment group were lower than control group with significant difference P<0.01. Both groups can improve patients' overall symptoms, but combined needle and herbal decoction therapy is better.3. Serum IL-1. TNF alpha were significantly increased after treatment in the two groups with significant difference (P<0.01):Compared with control group, there was significant difference after the treatment.with P<0.01.Both the two treatment can increase the level of IL-1, TNF alpha level, but the combined needle and herbal decoction therapy is better.ConclusionThroughout this study. we think that needle and herbal decoction therapy have mutual combined effect on the treatment of menopause insomnia pertaining to disorder between heart and kidney syndrome This therapy can improve the symptoms of patients more effectively and it can increase the level of cytokines IL-1, TNF alpha to achieve or exceed normal level, which indicate that combined needle and herbal decoction therapy can get better effect compared to herbal decoction that is worth promotion in the clinical application.
