Theoretical ResearchTo elucidate the disequilibrium of neurotransmitters(Dopamine)and nutritious factor of nerve(protein S100β)and to elaborate the theoretical principle of this reseach by integrating the traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine.Expirical ResearchObjective:To elucidate the function and mechanism of An Shen ding zhi ling for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).Methods:30 SHR Rats were randomly divided into five groups, namely, the model group, methylphenidate group(treated by litalin), An Shen ding zhi ling of low dose group, An Shen ding zhi ling of medium dose group, and An Shen ding zhi ling of high dose group.6 animals in each group.6 WKY Rats were set as the normal control group. After given drugs two weeks, we collect the blood of all the rats. Then we detect the contents of serum DA and protein S100βusing the ELISA method and the BCA method. Results:1.The serum levels of DA, protein S100βin model group was significantly decreased, compared with that of the normal control group(P<0.05).2.Compared with that of the model group, the serum levels of DA and protein S100βin the methylphenidate group and An Shen ding zhi ling of every dose were increased(P<0.05) 3.There was no obviouse difference in the serum levels of DA, protein S100βwhen compared with that of the methylphenidate group(P>0.05). Conclusion:1.The mechanism of treating effects of An Shen ding zhi ling may be related with the disfunction of dopaminergic system and the nutritious factor of nerve(protein S100β).2.There may have relation between neurotransmitters(Dopamine)and nutritious factor of nerve(protein S100β) in the outbreak of ADHD.
