Clinical Comparison Of FOLFOX4 Regimen Versus MFOLFOX6 Regimen In Treatment Of Advanced Gastric Carcinoma

Objective:To compare the curative effect and the side effects of the regimen of FOLFOX4 with the regimen of mFOLFOX6.Methods:analyze the clinical data of 64 patients with advanced gastric cancer treated by FOLFOX4 or mFOLFOX6 in our hospital,to compare the curative effect and the side effects of the two regimens.FOLFOX4 regimen:L-OHP(85mg/m2 ivd2h dl)were given first,CF(200mg/m2 ivd2h dl,d2)followed by 5-FU(1000mg/m2 civ22h dl,d2)were given.FOLFOX4 regimen was repearted every 14 days.mFOLFOX6 regimen:L-OHP(135mg/m2 ivd2h dl)were given first,CF(400mg/m2 ivd2h dl)followed by 5-FU(2600mg/m2 civ46h)were given.mFOLFOX6 regimen was repeated every 21 days.Result:①FOLFOX4 group MST 10 mouths,mPFS 6 months.1 year survival 27.3%. mFOLFOX6 group MST 10 months,mPFS 5 months.1 year survival 22.6%P=0.668,0.414.②FOLFOX4 group RR 18.2%,RR+SD 97%, mFOLFOX6 group RR 16.1%,RR+SD 93.6%,P=0.828,0.518.For patients of ECOG 2 scores RR+SD in mFOLFOX6 are higher than FOLFOX4,P=0.014.③The main side effects were in mFOLFOX6 group is grade III and IV liver function damage P=0.016,The toxicity is mild and tolerable.Conclusions:The regimens of FOLFOX4 and mFOLFOX6 are both effective as the first-line treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma.FOLFOX4 regimen is better suitable for the patients who are elder and weaker or with liver function after chemotherapies.
