Objective:Detection of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C), interleukin -8 (IL-8) and matrix metalloproteinase -9 (MMP-9); in order to research and study its possibility as serum tumor markers to predict lymph node metastasis and monitor surgical treatment and prognosis of non-small cell lung cancerMethods:Application of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect expression of serum VEGF, VEGF-C,IL-8 and MMP-9 in 60 cases of NSCLC patients 1 day before the operation,90 days and 1 year after the operation. Results:The results of study show that:(1) VEGF-C, IL-8 and MMP-9 levels of NSCLC patients before surgery have significant Pathobiologyl specificity; (2) serum VEGF-C, IL-8 and MMP-91evels in the patients with Lymph node metastasis were significantly higher than those without lymph node metastasis, there is a significant difference (P<0.01), combined detection of three protein factors in the diagnosis of lymph node metastasis is more valuable; (3) the serum VEGF-C, IL-8 and MMP-9 levels in the NSCLC patients after operation decreased significantly, tracking and monitoring of 20 patients after surgery we found that VRGF-C, IL-8, MMP-9 levels in the patients with lung cancer recurrence and metastasis were gradually increased. Conclusion:Combined detection of serum VEGF-C, IL-8 and MMP-9 levels is contribute to increase the judgment accuracy of NSCLC lymph node metastasis. Dynamic observation of serum serum VEGF-C, IL-8 and MMP-9 levels of NSCLC patients after operation will help to determine treatment effect, monitor surgical prognosis and guide multi-disciplinary comprehensive treatment for postoperative lung cancer patients.
