Most of drugs are stereochemistry and they may differ in their pharmacological activities due to the difference of stereochemistry, so the enantiomeric separation attracts our attentions. This dissertation consisted of four parts. In chapter 1, it gives a general review on the status of enantiomeric separation by high performance liquid chromatography. It also gives the significance of dihydropyridine calcium antagonists, elaeocarpus alkaloid, binding of drugs to plasma proteins, and the main reseach on them. The influence of the separation factor, including in the mobile phase composition, the mobile flow-rate, the temperature and the concentration of chiral mobile phase additive are studied. In chapter 2, dihydropyridine calcium antagonists enantiomeric separation with chiral stationary phases by high performance liquid chromatography are presented. Enantiomers of manidipine and clinipine were completely resoloved on OD-H chiral column. In chapter 3, it gives the enantioselective binding of clinipine to plasma proteins by CSP and ultrafiltration technique. Results showed that clinipine binding to plasma proteins was not stereoselective。In chapter 4, enantiomers of four elaeocarpus alkaloid were completely resoloved on CD-PH chiral column. In addition, the influence of the mobile phase composition and the concentration of chiral mobile phase additive on the separation factor are studied.
