Obejective:To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of decreased kidney function in healthy physical examination population.Methods:1100 cases who received healthy physical examination in The Second Affilated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University from Jun.2009 to Feb.2010 were randomly selected to analyse the prevalence of decreased kidney function and their risk factors. Decreased kidney function estimated glomerular filtration rate by abbreviated MDRD equation (abnormal: <60ml/min/1.73m2).Result:The prevalence of albuminuria was 0.5%,hematuria 2.8%, decreased kidney function 12.0%.Factors independently asssociated with decreased kidney function were age, high systolic Bp, high diastolic Bp,hypertriglyceridaemia and hyperuricemia.Conclution:The prevalence of decreased kidney function in general population was high. Age,high systolic Bp, high diastolic Bp,hypertriglyceridaemia and hyperuricemia were the independent risk factors for decreased kidney function. It 's important to test urinalysis and kiney function in health check-up for detecting chronic kidney disease(CKD) earlier. And closer attention is needed to prevent the CKD in the high-risk group.
