Objective:To study the expression of nerve growth factor(NGF) and its high-affinity tyrosine kinase receptor-A(TrkA) in the wound tissue of diabetic foot patients and the quantity of NGF in the wound tissue of diabetic foot patient. Methods:Diabetic foot wound samples and normal human subcutaneous tissue samples were collected, The expression of NGF and its high-affinity receptor TrkA were observed by immunohistochemistry, and the content of NGF was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results: NGF and its high-affinity receptor TrkA were both presented in cell nuclus and endochylema of diabetic foot wound samples and normal human subcutaneous tissue samples from the result of immunohistochemistry .From the result of ELISA,the content of NGF in diabetic foot wound samples were (66.299±10.204)pg/ml,and the content of NGF in normal human subcutaneous tissue samples were (35.015±4.671)pg/ml.The content of NGF in diabetic foot wound samples was significantly higher than which in normal human subcutaneous tissue samples, and the difference have statistical sense (P=0.010<0.05).Conclusion:Change of NGF and its high-affinity receptor TrkA expression in the wound tissue of diabetic foot patients may involved in the development of the wounds, which is a factor affectoing the diabetic foot wound healing.
