Objective To explore micrsurgical treatment of parasagittal meningiomas and post-operative adjuvant therapy ofγknife.Methods The clinical data of 73 patients with parasagittal meningiomas who were treated by microsurgical from February 2005 to June 2009, were analysed retrospectively.Results SimpsonⅠⅡtumor resection was achieved in 58 of the 73cases (79.5%), SimpsonⅢⅣresection and post-operative adjuvant therapy ofγknife in 15 cases (20.5%), postoperative edema in 5 cases(6.8%), hemorrhage in 2 cases (2.7%), infection in 1 case (1.4%), no death. According to WHO histological grade, WHOⅠgrade in 62 cases (84.9%), WHOⅡin 10 cases (13.7%), WHOⅢgrade in 1cases (1.4%). Follow-up to 43 with a mean of 3.8 years, preoperative symptoms disappear in all cases and life are self-care, 2 cases (4.6%) of recurrence.Conclusion 1,Microsurgery is main method to treatment of parasagittal meningiomas. 2,γknife adjuvant treatment of parasagittal meningiomas residual tumor after surgery is an effective measure.
