ObjectiveThe paper was performed to investigate IL-17 associated signaling pathway JAK-STAT1 pathway by animal model of experimental heart failure. Methods and ResultsThe study established the heart failure models induced by Adriamycin(ADR) administration regimen in rats and provide successful heart failure animal models by statistical analyses and pathological examination between heart failure groups and control groups. The heart failure groups were treated by IL-17 antibody, IgG antibody and PBS, and the control group by PBS. The expressions of t-STAT1 and p-STAT1 was tested by Western blotting and ANP mRNA of left cardiac atrium tested by Real-time PCR. There was no significant difference among all trial groups of heart failure.ConclusionOverall, the experience found that the expressions of t-STAT1 and p-STAT1 of JAK-STATs pathway in the heart failure models treated by IL-17 antibody have no significant differences with control heart failure models. So the function of IL 17 in heart failure rats was not through JAK-STATs pathway or in other time.
