| Objective:to study the effect of fascia iliaca compartment block for post-hip arthroplasty.Method:50 cases were observed and divided into 2 groups (Group A and B). Group A was treated with iliaca compartment block after hip arthoplasty. Group B was treated with irregular analgesia. Pain scores, strength of quadriceps femoris and major complications were calculated at different time postoperatively. Results:all the patients'data were collected. The pain scores was evaluated by numerical rating scales (NRS), strength of quadriceps femoris and major complications was recorded at different time postoperatively. The NRS of Goup A was signifficantly lower than that of Group B, while strength of quadriceps femoris and major complications were similar betwween two groups after hip arthoplasty. Conclusion:it may be an effective, simple, and safe analgesic method for post-hip arthoplasty without any major complications. |
